On February 1st, 2025, San Miguel de Allende will host an extraordinary recital at Univerciudad UG “Casa El Nigromante.” This concert will feature two exceptional artists: renowned pianist and composer Marta García Renart, celebrated for her extensive career spanning from performances at Carnegie Hall to her invaluable teaching contributions in Mexico, and soprano Luz Escalera, a versatile performer with a strong international background.
The program combines works by Mozart, Hugo Wolf, George Crumb, Fauré, and Mexican composers such as Marta García Renart and Blas Galindo, offering an emotional journey that celebrates both European classical music and Mexican roots. The event promises an unforgettable afternoon, marked by musical depth and a heartfelt connection with the audience.
