Chuchito Valdés, accompanied by a jazz trio, will pay tribute to the rich Cuban musical tradition and to the legacy of his grandfather Bebo Valdés and his father Chucho Valdés, two icons of Afro-Cuban jazz.
About the Artist:
Jesús “Chuchito” Valdés is the third generation of a musical dynasty that has transformed the landscape of Cuban jazz. A pianist, composer, and arranger, Chuchito has developed a unique style that blends the musical heritage of his predecessors with modern influences. His piano virtuosity evokes great figures such as Oscar Peterson and Monty Alexander, while his repertoire celebrates classic Cuban genres like mambo, danzón, cha-cha-chá, and son montuno. Throughout his career, Chuchito has released ten albums and has been nominated for the Latin Grammys seven times.
