The Baroque Experience

The Baroque Experience brings together internationally acclaimed artists for an extraordinary celebration of the elegance, brilliance, and expressive power of Baroque music. Headlined by Trio Barclay—the acclaimed Ensemble-in-Residence at the Irvine Barclay Theatre—and joined by Camerata Allende, this unique performance offers audiences an unforgettable journey through some of the greatest masterpieces of the 17th and 18th centuries.

The program features iconic works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, and other celebrated Baroque composers, showcasing the richness of the era through virtuosic solo passages, intricate counterpoint, and vibrant orchestral textures.

Trio Barclay unites three internationally acclaimed artists: Dennis Kim (violin), Concertmaster of the Pacific Symphony; Jonah Kim (cello), whose recordings have been praised by The Strad and Gramophone; and Sean Kennard (piano), laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition and First Prize winner of the Dr. Luis Sigall International Piano Competition.

Joining them is Camerata Allende, a distinguished chamber orchestra composed of accomplished musicians from Mexico and abroad:
