As part of the 2026 San Miguel de Allende Arts Festival (FASMA), The Baroque Experience brings together the acclaimed Barclay Trio and Camerata Allende to perform masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, and other great composers whose music forever changed the course of classical music.

More than a concert, this is a rare opportunity to experience these timeless works in an intimate setting, where every note, every musical conversation, and every emotion unfolds just a few feet from the performers.

The Barclay Trio, Ensemble-in-Residence at the Irvine Barclay Theatre—the first ensemble ever appointed to this prestigious position—is composed of three internationally acclaimed artists:

• Dennis Kim, Concertmaster of the Pacific Symphony and one of the leading violinists of his generation.

• Jonah Kim, cellist praised by Gramophone and The Strad for the depth and brilliance of his performances.

• Sean Kennard, laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition and First Prize winner of the Dr. Luis Sigall International Piano Competition.

Joining them is Camerata Allende, a distinguished chamber ensemble composed of accomplished musicians based in San Miguel de Allende alongside distinguished guest artists from around the world, united by a shared commitment to artistic excellence and historically inspired performance.
