BIOGRAPHY:
The Ars Vitae Quartet is composed of distinguished musicians who share a passion for performing classical music masterpieces with great sensitivity and artistic depth. This ensemble, formed by:
- Vladik Badiarov (violin),
- Hiram Herrera (violin),
- Gilberto Núñez (viola), and
- Guillermo Sánchez Romero (cello),
delivers an interpretative approach that combines technical virtuosity with a profound emotional understanding of the works they perform.
On this occasion, the Ars Vitae Quartet, joined by narrator Marco Antonio Díaz, presents one of Joseph Haydn’s most moving compositions: “The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross” in its string quartet version. This program seeks to convey the drama, lyricism, and spirituality of a piece that, since its premiere in 1787, has deeply moved generations of listeners.
The performance is designed to tour historic churches and temples, including the Missions of the Sierra Gorda, bringing this spiritual and musical message to diverse communities while enriching their cultural and religious experience.
