BIOGRAPHY:

 

Ricardo Salinas

Considered one of the most prominent and most active guitarists of his generation. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental-Guitar and Master’s degree in Musical Education at the National School of Music (now Faculty of Music) of the UNAM, receiving high-level academic recognition, as well as the “GabinoBarreda” medal for being the best student of the degree.

 

Carlos Ricardo Arias De la Vega

He is currently part of the first violins of the UNAM Philharmonic Orchestra and the Minería Symphony Orchestra.

In Mexico, his main mentors on the violin were Lorenzo González and Natalia Gvozdetskaya; and in Canada, William Van der Sloot. He is a Graduate Violin Concertist from the INBA National Conservatory of Music. He completed a year of artistic improvement at the Mount Royal Conservatory in Calgary, Canada.

He worked on OCESA musical theater productions in productions such as Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, The Producers, Beauty and the Beast and Dulce Caridad. He was part of the violin chair at the Higher School of Music and at the National Conservatory of Music. Since 2015 he has been teaching violin classes at the Cedros-Universidad Panamericana School Center.
