Presents:
Living Arts is a unique, one-of-a-kind live art experience that fuses music and painting in real time, celebrating women’s leadership, creativity, and voices as part of International Women’s Day 2026.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter Jackie “Bouvier” Copeland and painter Claudia Pérez Pavón are joined by an exceptional ensemble of musicians who give sound to every brushstroke, emotion, and atmosphere.
Over the course of two hours, the audience will witness a live dialogue between sound and color: original songs, instrumental improvisation, and live painting.
The artworks created during the event will be available for purchase, and part of the concert proceeds will go toward supporting orphanages in San Miguel de Allende, strengthening the project’s social impact.

ARTIST BIOS
Jackie “Bouvier” Copeland – Singer-Songwriter
Shaped by the music of her authentic Afro-American Gullah Geechee heritage, as well as by her travels around the world as an anthropologist, Dr. Jackie “Bouvier” Copeland sings contemporary Afro-fusion music that blends African, blues, jazz, soul, Latin, and other genres to transform the human spirit with her unique style, echoing Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan. More information at bouvier.world.
Claudia Pérez Pavón – Painter
A Visual and Plastic Artist with more than 31 years of professional experience, she has made painting an expanded field where light, matter and non-matter, the frequency of color, and visible and invisible geometries engage in dialogue. Her work is woven like writing: calligraphy, pictography, narratives of East and West, forces, magnetisms, and portraits of the micro- and macrocosm. From the Mexican Bajío, nature, symbiosis, and infinite times nourish an animist, mystical, and cosmogonic vision in which everything—beings, elements, and phenomena—vibrates as a single living fabric.
Living Arts is a global program of the WISE Fund, produced by UnShow Arts, with community support from CasaElm in San Miguel de Allende.
