Living Arts: An International Women’s Day Celebration

Living Arts is a unique, one-of-a-kind live art experience that fuses music and painting in real time, celebrating women’s leadership, creativity, and voices as part of International Women’s Day 2026.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter Jackie “Bouvier” Copeland and painter Claudia Pérez Pavón are joined by an exceptional ensemble of musicians who give sound to every brushstroke, emotion, and atmosphere.

Over the course of two hours, the audience will witness a live dialogue between sound and color: original songs, instrumental improvisation, and live painting.

The artworks created during the event will be available for purchase, and part of the concert proceeds will go toward supporting orphanages in San Miguel de Allende, strengthening the project’s social impact.

Jackie “Bouvier” Copeland – Singer-Songwriter

Jackie is a singer-songwriter and producer known for her powerful voice and emotional songs. Her music blends soul, folk, and alternative pop, with influences from artists such as Joni Mitchell and Lauryn Hill. Her lyrics explore identity, strength, self-love, and social issues. In Living Arts, Jackie leads the musical side of the concert, creating live songs that connect directly with the painting.

Claudia Pérez Pavón – Painter

Claudia is a visual artist known for her intense use of color and expressive style. Her work combines abstraction with symbolic forms to explore emotions, energy, and female identity. For her, painting is a live and physical process, almost like a dance. In Living Arts, she creates a piece in real time, inspired by the music and the atmosphere of the moment.
