Tribute to Billie Holiday.
Due to the high demand following an extraordinary performance with members of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Querétaro, UnShow Productions has added two more shows in the series “Lady Zen Sings” in tribute to Billie Holiday, known as Lady Day. This one-woman cabaret show, starring Lady Zen, combines original poetry, music, and stories about how Billie Holiday influenced her career, celebrating her as an iconic figure for jazz singers. The performances will take place in cities such as León, Querétaro, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, and San Miguel de Allende.
The show highlights the deep emotional connection that artists achieve through their music, a sentiment that Lady Zen expresses in a quote about the shared passion among singers. Each performance promises a unique interpretation of Holiday’s most memorable songs, such as “God Bless the Child,” “Strange Fruit,” and “Don’t Explain.” Additionally, there is an opportunity for businesses interested in sponsorship to gain special benefits and greater visibility at these events.
