Rey David & Cuban Jazz Quartet

The Teatro Ángela Peralta presents an evening of internationally inspired jazz led by Rey David Alejandre, a musician with an extensive career spanning New York and major stages across the Latin music circuit.

Renowned for his work as a trombonist with Willie Colón and for collaborations with artists such as Richard Bona, Rey David arrives in San Miguel alongside a Cuban jazz quartet led by Ricardo Benítez.

The program explores a range of contemporary jazz soundscapes, grounded in Afro-Cuban rhythms and shaped by an open approach to improvisation. Rather than a fixed repertoire, the performance unfolds through the interaction between musicians, with the energy on stage guiding the direction of the evening.
